Australian Accounting Awards 2022 Finalists announced
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Carrick Aland has been shortlisted as finalists in the Boutique Firm of the Year, Business Advisory Firm of the Year and Regional/Suburban Firm of the Year categories in this year’s Australian Accounting Awards.
Carrick Aland Director Greg Burton said, “In an increasingly competitive line-up of excellent firms, we are extremely proud to be named Australian Accounting Awards finalists. We would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge our whole team across the Carrick Aland Group — we couldn’t have done it without them.”
“We would again like to congratulate BMO Business Centre on also being named a 2022 finalist in the Regional/Suburban Firm of the Year category. Having two Dalby accounting businesses named as national finalists speaks volumes about the calibre of firms operating in our region.”
The Australian Accounting Awards is the premier event that showcases the depth of accounting talent and expertise, recognising success and passion.
The Boutique and Business Advisory awards recognise accounting firms that most effectively achieved business growth, utilising a range of business development principles.
Business advice is a growing service offering in the accounting community, as accounting professionals increasingly support and become the preferred advisers to their small business clients in particular.
The Regional/Suburban award recognises outstanding performance by accounting firms operating in regional, remote or suburban Australia. These firms play a vital role for clients that are often overlooked by not being situated in the big end of town.
The finalist list announced on 26 April features over 290 high-achieving professionals across 34 submission-based categories. (Select Group tab at top of page.)
AccountantsDaily Editor Philip King said, “The Accountants Daily Australian Accounting Awards night is renowned as the premier event each year when the profession recognises and celebrates those right at the top of their game.”
“Reaching the finalists stage is regarded as an incredible achievement across the Australian accounting industry, demonstrating the depth of dedication and commitment each firm brings to advancing the industry.”
“This year it is especially poignant as the first face-to-face awards night since the onset of COVID. It offers the whole industry a chance to come together and mark its exceptional contributions to the national wellbeing through the trials of the pandemic and testing natural disasters.”
“Under such circumstances, to be shortlisted from among the hundreds of high-quality entries is a mark of high achievement, one that echoes throughout the profession.”
Winners will be announced at a gala ceremony in Sydney on 16 June 2022.
